Team News

·   Congratulations to Rahoul Singh, Bill Nau, Sid Singh, Marian Krauss and Shiraz Butt who represented the Lake Forest Rec Center in the 5.5 division of the recently completed National teams event at Yale University . They lost to a strong Yale team in the final, a great result for this “impromptu” gathering of players from around chicago-land.

·   Northwestern university cracked the top 25 in the national rankings for the first time…again congratulations to the “Wildcats”.

·   The University Club B team, led by Joe Russell, was victorious in the first act of the super league that ended in early December. We look forward to the second act.

METROsquash

METROsquash has expanded to serve 40 Chicago Public School children and has put themselves and their program on the national squash and youth urban enrichment map. There is always a need for volunteers, on the squash court or in the classroom.  Their annual appeal is underway, so after such a successful year why not make a donation today via www.metrosquash.org or e-mail info@metrosquash.org if you need more information.
