Imran Nasir

Imran brings over fifteen years of coaching and pro level playing experience to Illinois. He played competitively in Pakistan and coached along side squash legend Hiddy Jahan. In 1991 he played in the English squash leagues and in 1993 he won the Pakistan Inter-university championships. Imran was also a member of the team that won the US national team championship.

Imran has built one of the better squash programs in the country at the Lakeshore Athletic clubs in Chicago. He regularly brings world champions for pro tournaments, exhibitions and clinics. Imran organizes several tournaments a year including the annual AON tournament which features an international pro draw.

Imran is a superb coach and offers lessons to non-members at the rate of $55.

A USSRA Certified Level One Coach, John has spent numerous volunteer hours assisting the USSRA at many levels. He served as Chairman of the USSRA's Men's Committee from 1996-1999 and currently is a member of the Men's Committee and the USSRA Coaches Advisory Council.

John's enthusiasm for the game is apparent in his twelve years of coaching. In addition to earning the USSRA's Level One certification, he is a WPSA Level 3 and a USPTA Level 2 Coach.

John has been ranked has high as 3rd in the U.S. Amateur 35+ Division and was a Minnesota State Champion in 1996, 1997 and 1998. He achieved the ranking of 43rd in the 1997 PSA/NA Tour.

A $45-minute lesson for non-members costs $50.

Kim is a United States Squash Racquets Association (USSRA) Level One Certified coach and a USSRA Level D4 certified referee. In addition to her coaching duties, she is president of the Illinois Squash Racquets Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the USSRA as Great Lakes Regional Director.

A guest coach at the Greenwich Academy Squash Camp in Connecticut, she also has written articles and photographed the international pro squash scene for Squash Magazine, Squash Player International, Simply Squash and Squashtalk.com website.Kim runs junior mini-camps during summer and winter vacations and is available for semi-private or private lessons at $30 per hour. Aidan Harrison

Aidan (b. 1971) broke the PSA’s top 50 during his successful pro career. He was the World Junior Team Champion and assistant to English National Coach David Pearson. Since 1992, Aidan has captured three consecutive US 25+ Championships.

One of America’s preeminent coaches, Aidan recently lead the US Junior Men & Women to three gold and two silvers at the 2000 Pan Am Junior Games in Mexico City. He is the personal coach to Michelle Quibell (USA), the British Junior Open Champion 2001. He is also the current USA national junior womens coach.

    Faraz is not a pro, but a keen student of the game. He is the founder of the Illinois Squash Club with 100+ members in Champaign, Peoria and Streator Illinois. He lives in Peoria and plays squash every day at the clubs at River City. Every Sunday he plays in Champaign and once a month he comes to Chicago for lessons, tournaments and challenge courts. Faraz offers free lessons to anyone just starting off in squash.

    Faraz is also the founder of SquashClub.org a website dedicated to increasing the popularity of squash by uniting players from around the world. The e-Lessons on the site provide online squash lessons via pro tips, videos, and squash philosophy.

    Tayyab Habib
